Until now, training in professional educational institutions was limited to theory that has long been out of date, but there was no question of acquiring practical skills at all. Equipment at factories is updated quickly, which cannot be said about the programs that should teach how to work with this equipment. Therefore, responding to the challenges of the modern labor market, where two-thirds of surveyed employers feel an urgent need for qualified labor, and one in five faces the problem of insufficient qualification of employees, "Ukrainian Business Brotherhood" together with the Lviv Regional Council initiated the opening of practical training centers. These centers will become a starting point for professional growth and development of skills relevant to the labor market.
In educational practical centers, students will learn to craft, build, sew, cook, using modern materials and the latest equipment. Special attention in these centers will be paid to qualification programs that are oriented towards in-demand labor professions. It is important that graduates of these programs will be invited by members of the Business Brotherhood to work for their own productions. That is, we closed a perfect circle in which business owners create opportunities for students to become strong specialists who will later be invited to work for their own enterprises.
These training centers promise to become a solid foundation for the training of highly qualified specialists capable of meeting the requirements of the modern labor market. Thanks to this initiative, we not only solve the current problem of the shortage of qualified personnel, but also open up new opportunities for residents of Lviv region, contributing to their professional and personal development, as well as career fulfillment.
Changes in professional education in the Lviv region are intended to be the beginning of changes in the whole of Ukraine.
